When is the Klingerstown Civil War Weekend?

The event will take place on Saturday, May 22, and Sunday, May 23, 2027. Gates open at 9:00 AM daily.

Where is the event located and is there a cost?

The weekend is held at 1665 Ridge Road, Klingerstown, PA 17941. Attendance is completely free to the public, and no registration is required.

A Service will be held in the cemetery for Zion Klinger's Church, Klingers Church Road, Lykens, PA 17048. Only 1 miles from Klingerstown.

What are the parking and accessibility options?

Will food and beverages be available on site?

Free on-site parking is available. The grounds consist of grassy fields that are generally level for the main encampments and demonstration areas.

What should I bring and what if it rains?

Yes, food will be available at area food trucks. Water, soda and other non-alcoholic beverages are available on site, through the Klingerstown Fire Company, We ask that you support the fire company and other local vendors on site.

How can reenactors participate?

We recommend comfortable walking shoes, sun protection, and water. The event is held rain or shine; however, in cases of severe weather, activities may be moved to secure indoor locations
